Auto Auctions,Auto Classifieds or Local car Dealers ?

Published by Larry Blake under Motorcycles

by Larry Blake

Buying your dream car can be an exciting but daunting task. There are literally thousands of sources you can check to find used cars: local newspapers, private seller ads, franchised local car dealers, independent dealers, Internet classifieds, rental car agencies, weekly auto classifieds, leasing companies, corporate liquidations, Government auctions, police impounds, charities and more. The sheer number of places to buy a vehicle can be overwhelming and most people don't even shop outside of one or two types of sources. Why fish in a small pond when you can cast a wide net in a deep sea ?

With so many cars and sources to look at you may be tempted to skimp. However, the only way you can be sure you got the best price is to look at all the sources. Skip some and you will likely end up paying much more for your vehicle than you had to. For instance if the only place you look for a car is at the lot on the way home or maybe a few internet classifieds you are severely limiting your choices and you are almost sure to miss the best prices available. Just like finding the perfect spouse or the perfect job, it takes time, patience and a little luck to find the absolutely best bargains. If you read through and follow each step of the tutorial, then you are guaranteed to be a smarter, better bargain hunter now.

Gov-auction.org is your knight in shining armor! Here you can build a plan that is personal and access the tools necessary for getting through the mountain of data. You see this organization will provide information on about 1 million cars or trucks from various sources. These sources may include newspapers, internet ads, private classifieds, government auctions and much more. Where else can you find a company willing to do this much for their customers? Nowhere that I have ever heard of!

Finding your dream car is getting closer you now have a couple of routes you can take. You can begin your search in earnest or you can make a guided plan. This plan will include your personal preferences and should be based on some if not all of the following questions. Would you go to another city to get a good price on a vehicle? Is there a specific year, make or model that includes optional features that you will not reconsider? Do you have enough free time to begin your vehicle search? Are you in an emergency situation where you have to have a car now? Will you want a warranty or is it optional?

Local car Dealers offer the highest conveniences and services, but at a price premium. Going through our Vehicle Inspection List will reduce the risk of problems, but you may have to drive further to visit an auto auction. This actually works in your favor, as it means less people to bid up the price. Past auction results can be accessed. You'll find prices generally much lower than Blue-Book value, or what the local car dealers charge. In other words, you can get much better deals going through the auto auction sources if you're willing to spend the time, and aren't waiting for a specific type of vehicle.

Low Cost Auto Insurance – Online Quotes For Car Insurance

Published by Matt Hellstrom under Motorcycles

by Matt Hellstrom

If you find yourself needing to trim costs lately, one thing you may want to consider is the cost of owning your car. When was the last time you reviewed your policy? Have premiums gone up steadily even though you have a great driving record with no accidents, not even a traffic ticket? It may be time to start looking for low cost auto insurance.

One of the first things you can do to qualify for low cost auto insurance is to make sure that you have an excellent driving record. Most people can request a discount if they've been accident free and have not incurred any traffic violations for a period of at least three years. Not all insurance companies will offer it automatically, so check to make sure you're eligible and claim your discount with your insurer.

In all likelihood, you've kept the same insurance that you had when you first bought the car. You might have even gotten what seemed like a low cost auto insurance policy from your insurance agent at the time because you bought a car that had great crash test safety ratings from the government. But you never knew to check things like industry data for the car model like repair record, cost of repairs, accident and theft statistics. Believe it or not, all these factors influence rates for comprehensive and collision coverage ..

A car's safety rating is not the only criterion for setting rates. The type of car, its sticker price along with your own credit rating can impact whether you can get a low cost auto insurance policy. Even if you have good credit, if you opt for a sleek, pricey Ferrari, you can expect to pay an even higher premium. Obviously settling for a sturdy family sedan would dramatically lower your risk profile.

Just by raising your own out-of-pocket cost, known as a deductible, before a claim for insurance will be paid, you can lower your premiums by quite a bit. This is an effective way to obtain your own low cost auto insurance without even having to switch insurers. It makes sense to then use your savings to fund the amount of your higher deductible and set it aside. Then you can enjoy the peace of mind that you'll have the deductible in hand while being able to see immediate savings.

You may be able to get a low cost auto insurance policy if you are an infrequent driver or you don't need your car to get to work. A number of insurance companies will give a discount for low mile usage as long as you can show that you are within the limits. You can also reduce your premiums and see a large savings if you eliminate collision and comprehensive coverage once your car reaches a certain point where the value no longer exceeds the cost of repairs.

If you're anxious to see if you can obtain a low cost auto insurance policy, you should visit one of the rate comparison sites. You can get an instant quote for just about any vehicle you have in mind. The great thing is that you can change to different scenarios and know immediately what the impact on the bottom line will be. This is a great tool to use in conjunction with shopping for a new car.

With the great variety of electric scooters in the market, how can you know what is best for your particular situation? I realize this is rather subjective issue, but there is several factors to consider before you make a decision. My goal in this article is to give you basic guidelines when it comes to buying an electric scooter.

To start off, what kind of electric scooter are we talking about? Stand up scooters can have no motor, a gas motor, or an electric motor. Kids primarily rids them. Seniors generally use the mobility electric scooter, because they are the most stable. Other 'so called' scooters are usually called mopeds. They are similar to motorcycles, but you do not need a motorcycle license if your moped is 50cc or less.

First you need to determine how often and how much you plan to use it. If you only plan to use your electric scooter in emergencies, perhaps a good used one would do. You can plan to spend between $500 - $800 for a reliable used scooter. You may consider getting a 50cc scooter. They are economical and adequate to run that quick trip to the nearby convenience store.

However, if you're buying an electric scooter for everyday use, that is, for somebody who is handicapped or a senior citizen, you might want to invest in the mobility electric scooter models. In fact, the more stable the unit is, the better. In this case, a four-wheeled electric scooter is your best choice.

Electric scooters of the moped variety has been gaining much popularity in America recently. With the hundreds saved monthly on gas, maintenance and insurance, many are finding moped scooters provide a nice alternative for driving locally. No motorcycle license is required for the 50cc gas scooters or less and smaller electric scooters.

Choosing the best electric scooter can be challenging and time consuming. It helps make the decision easier when you know what you plan to use it for and have a determined budget. Many also consider how the scooter looks and not just how functional it will be. After doing a little homework on the scooter is best functionally, picking how it looks will be up to your interest and personality.
